Allium campanulatum (Sierra Onion)

20cm, Sierra Onion is a rarely cultivated bulbous plant with pendulous, pale rose flowers above basal, grass-like leaves. Native of mountainous areas in California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington State. Seeds from a certified wild collection in Four Corners, Plumas County, California, USA at some 1.200m. For any rich, very well drained soil in a sunny spot. Excellent in the rock garden. VI-VII.
