Penstemon fruticiformis (Death Valley Beardtongue)

15cm, Death Valley Beardtongue is a dwarf species with small lanceolate leaves and rich blue to violet flowers. Seeds from a certified wild collection in Deschutes County, Oregon, USA at some 1.500m. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Excellent in a protected spot in the rock garden. VI-VIII.
