Penstemon neomexicanus (New Mexico Beardtongue)

20cm, New Mexico Beardtongue is a medium tall species with blue flowers above rosettes of rich green, leathery leaves. Seeds from a certified wild collection in Otero County, New Mexico, USA at some 2.600m. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Excellent in a protected spot in the rock garden. VI-VIII.
