Kennedia macrophylla (Augusta Kennedia)

150 (250)cm, Augusta Kennedia (syn. Kennedia lateritia) is a fast growing semi-woody climbing to prostrate species from Western Australia, where it has become endangered in its habitat. Kennedia macrophylla has rather large, mid green, three-parted leaves and most ornamental, scarlet flowers with a yellow eye. An excellent pot plant for a cool wintergarden or greenhouse. Keep plants somewhat drier in winter at a minimum of some 15°C. VI-IX.
