This cultivar has broad, slightly undulated glossy leaves and a very rich and spicy taste, which can be added to salads as well. Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in full sun. Sow after the last freezing nights directly to the ground in the garden by the end of spring. Do not cover sowings with soil for all basil species require light for germination. VII-IX.
