Dianella nigra (New Zealand Ink Berry)

70cm New Zealand Ink Berry is a showy perennial from new Zealand with long, straplike leaves and elegant, branching flower racemes with small bluish-white to white flowers followed by most ornamental dark lilac berries. Easily grown in any humus rich soil in a partially shaded (summer) to sunny (winter) spot a winter minimum of some 15°C. V-VIII.
