Viola pedatifida (Prairie Violet)

10 (13)cm, Prairie Violet (syn. Viola palmata var. pedatifida) is native from southern Canady to central-northern USA. It bears unusual leaves, which are palmately divided into narrow segments, and bright violet blue flowers. Excellent for a sunny spot in the rock garden in any well drained soil. IV-V.
