Thymus zygis ssp. gracilis (Dwarf Spanish Thyme)

15 (25)cm, Dwarf Spanish Thyme is a perennial species with upright hold, short woody stems which are short in subspecies gracilis from the south-eastern parts of the Iberian peninsula. As the species it has small white flowers above strongly aromatic, linear, greyish-green leaves. For any rich, very well drained soil in a sunny and protected spot. Ideal for the rock garden. VII-VIII.
