20cm, Cary's Beardtongue is a local endemic Penstemon species from Bighorn and Pryor mountains (north central Wyoming and south central Montana, USA). It is a smaller species with narrow leaves and pale blue flowers. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. An excellent plant for the rock garden. Seeds from a certified wild collection in Sheridan County, Wyoming, USA, at some 2.800m. VI-VIII. |
