Dasylirion gentryi (Gentry’s Sotol)

50 (100)cm, Gentry’s Sotol is a medium large, showy species with a short, up to 50cm tall trunk and rich green, glossy leaves. It is endemic to mountain region in Mexico (southeastern Sonora desert and Chihuahua). A rarely cultivated species for any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep drier at a minimum of some 5°C. IV.V.
