20 (40)cm, Moroccan Lavander is a rarely cultivated subspecies from mountains in southern Morocco. It makes narrow, bluish-green, strongly fragrant leaves and most ornamental prominent pale violet-purple bracts, which are narrower than in the Mediterranean species. It is sufficiently hardy in any rocky, well drained soil in a protected spot in full sun or under cold glass in an unheated greenhouse or wintergarden. USDA climate zone 7/8. VI-VIII. |
