Salvia cyanescens (Blue Woolly Sage)

30 (50)cm, Blue Woolly Sage is an evergreen perennial from Iran to Turkey. It bears white woolly leaves and pale violet blue flowers. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny and preferably protected spot. In colder areas best grow in pots under frostfree conditions in a cold wintergarden or unheated greenhouse at a winter minimum of some 5°C. USDA Climate Zone 8. VI-VIII.
