Argemone glauca (Hawaiian Poppy)

80 (120)cm, Hawaiian Poppy is a most ornamental perennial endemic of the Hawaiian archipelago, and which is rarely known elsewhere. Argemone glauca has bluish-green leaves on spiny stems, and pure white flowers. Stems release a typical rich yellow sap if being hurt. For any rich, well drained substrate in full sun. In winter keep plants slightly drier and in full sun at a minimum of some 15°C. V-X.
