30 (60)cm, (syn. Gynandriris sisyrinchium) is native from the Mediterranean regions to Pakistan in the East, growing from sea level up to to 2.000m on hay-meadows. Leaves are half-closed. Bears several bright lavender blue flowers with egg shaped outer petals in IV.
