20 (30)cm, broad fresh green foliage and several flowers in brightest red make this a very showy species. A very robust and easy going wild tulip native from Tadzhikistan in the southern Pamir Alai in earthy slopes. For any humus rich, well drained soil in full sun. III-IV.
