Solanum dulcamara (Bittersweet Nightshade)

100 (150)cm, Bittersweet Nightshade is native of most N Africa, Europe and Asia growing in humus rich, slightly moist soils in open spots in woods. A perennial climber with quite large lilac flowers followed by bright red berries. Sow flat directly into the ground at the end of spring. Plants require a climbing aid. Note: All parts are poisonous if ingested ! VI-VIII.
