Melaleuca elliptica

2 (3)m, Granite Honey Myrtle is a medium sized woody shrub with small, elliptical, grayish green leaves and dense terminal spikes of deep red flowers. It is native of S Australia (Esperance to Striling Ranges and Sharks Bay). For any humus rich, preferably slightly rocky, very well drained soil in a sunny spot. V-VII.
