Sedum (Winter Hardy Stonecrop)

Stonecrop is a broad genus with mostly succulent hardy to tropical plants, annuals to evergreen perennials, small shrubs or tree-like growth habit with decorative foliage and usually dense clusters of numerous, small, and bright colored flowers. For any well drained, rocky soil. Hardy members most suited for open positions in the rock garden, excellent ground covering plants.
Sow dust-like seeds very thin on any well drained, rather sandy soil, do not cover seeds, keep at 15°C (hardy Sedum) to 25°C (tropical species) in full sun. Keep tropical members absolutely dry in winter at a minimum of some 10°C in a sunny spot.
All are USDA Climate Zone 6.
