Blue Lace Flower belongs to a broad genus of annuals or semiperennials with usually white or cream-white flower heads. The annual Australian native Trachymene coerulea has an unusual sky-blue flower color. Easily grown in any rich soil in full sun.
Sow flat in any rich, well drained substrate at some 20°C under glass in early spring. Carefully transplant seedlings to their final spot in the garden after the last freezing nights from end of spring to early summer.

Native of dryish or sandy soils in shrub lands and grasslands in south western Australia. For any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot. Sow in early spring under glass at some 20°C. Transplant to the garden after the last freezing nights from end of spring to early summer. VII-VIII.
