Convallaria (Lilly-of-the-Valley)

Convallaria are rhizomatous wood plants (3 species). Excellent ground covering plants with large deep green leaves and elegant flowering stalks with nodding bell-shaped flowers. Easy to naturalize in humus rich soil.
Sow autumn to spring in any well drained soil in full sun, keep pots protected in winter.
Note: All parts are very poisonous!
All are USDA Climate Zone 6.
