Jewelweed are native of humus rich soils in sunny, open spots in woods in North America, Africa and Asia. They are fast-growing annuals, biennials to perennials with upright stems crowned by lose racemes of rose, yellow or bright orange flowers. The tropical and subtropical perennial species are ideal houseplants. All Impatiens can be easily grown in any rich, well-drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot. Sow seeds flat in any rich, well drained soil at some 20°C to 25°C throughout the year. Keep pots in a partially shaded spot (summer) to full sun (winter). 20 seeds per package. |
