They make annual stems from a perennial rootstock, crowned by several showy lilac tubular flowers in late spring to early summer. Sow flat on any rich, yet well drained, sandy soil in mid spring after the last freezing nights (all Hyoscyamus spp.), respectively in autumn (Physochlaina spp.). Keep pots in full and substrate always slightly moist until seedlings appear. Place pots in a sunny spot and keep the soil always slightly moist. Transplant to the garden from end of spring till early summer as soon as plants are strong enough. 20 seeds per package. |
