Easily grown cacti with a round to elonganted body covered with strong spines and showy terminal flowers followed by large ovoid yellow to orange fruits. For any rich, very well drained soil in full sun throughout the year. Keep plants completely dry in winter a some 10°C. Sow seeds flat on any rich, well drained substrate in full sun.
