Leibnitzia (Asian Gerbera)

Asian Gerbera are perennials from open spot in woods in Asia. They make dense basal leaf rosettes and short stalks with white to rose-lilac flower heads. Easily grown in any rich, well-drained soil in a partially shaded spot.
Sow seeds flat on any rich, well drained soil. Keep pots in a sunny, protected spot outside. Transplant to the final spot in the garden as soon as plants are strong enough.
All are USDA Climate Zone 6.

25cm, Chinese Gerbera (syn. Gerbera kunzeana) is a perennial with a dense basal leaf rosette and medium tall stalks with pale yellow flowers. Native of open spots in mountain woods and meadows from southern Tibet to Kashmir to Bhutan in the Himalaya. Easily grown in any humus rich, well drained soil in a partially shaded spot. VI-VII.
