Ornithogalum (Milk Star)

Milkstars, all require good drainage and a sunny position. Will usually form nice clumps in a couple of years and make white to whitish-green flowers on tall racemes.
Sow autumn to spring in any sandy and humus rich soil. Transplant bulbs in autumn. South African Ornithogalum are best precultivated under frostfree conditions for two years, later the bulbs shall be planted rather deep to protect them from strong frost.
All are USDA Climate Zone 6 unless stated differently specified.
