Silver Leaf are biannual to perennial species with decorative, sometimes slightly fragrant flowers followed by flattened, oval, silver-white, paper-like seed-capsules, which are used in the floristry in ornamental dry-flower arrangements. Native throughout Europe to western Asia growing in open spots in woods. All Lunaria species are easily cultivated in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot. Sow seeds flat in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot, either in pots or directly into the garden in spring. Will readily self-sow under good conditions. 20 seeds per package. |
