80 (110)cm, Common Rosemary (syn. Rosmarinus officinalis ssp. officinalis) is a strongly branching low woody shrub from the central and western Mediterranean region. It makes narrow, needle-like, leathery, slightly glossy, strongly aromatic leaves and numerous showy rich sky-blue flowers in late winter and spring. For any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot throughout the year. Give some good winter protection or grown in pots under frostfree conditions at a winter minimum of some 5°C with slightly reduced watering. II-V. 20 seeds per package.
