Amorphophallus mossambicensis

90 (120)cm, (syn. Amorphophallus swynnertonii) is a medium sized species native of Mozambique, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. It makes a short stalked broadly unfolding maroon to dark wine-red spathe and a dark wine-red spadix inside. This species makes some large stoloniferous offsets from the main tuber. In winter keep dormant corms almost completely dry at a minimum of some 15°C. VI-VII.
