Agave stricta (Hedgehog Agave)

30 (40)cm ø, Hedgehog Agave is an ornamental species which is similar to Agave striata, yet it has a more southern distributional range in Mexico. it makes plenty of narrow leaves with black teeth and grows in dense clusters. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep cool and dry at a minimum of some 5°C.
