60 (100)cm, semi-evergreen, broad fanlike, light green leaves with prominent veins an acute tip and many brilliant blue large flowers over a long period. Native from Burma to central China growing in meadows. Makes nice stoloniferous clumps in time. For any rich, well drained soil in partial shade to full sun. Rarely seen in cultivation, yet very easy. IV-V.
