15 (20)cm, Blue Globe Onion is an ornamental species from East Europe to central Asia, where it is found in steppes and salt marshes. A still rather rarely cultivated species with showy pure sky blue flowers. Easily grown in any humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. IV-V.
