Allium schubertii

30 (40)cm, similar to Allium christophii but with flowers on very long stalks with unusual star-like appearance. Any sunny spot in a well drained soil. Plant bulbs rather deep to prevent frost damages. Seeds from a hardier selection. Species much sought after and still very rare. V-VI.
