Ipomoea pes-caprae (Beach Morning Glory)

150 (300)cm, Beach Morning Glory is native of coastal tropcial regions where it usually grows in sand-dunes. Ipomoea pes-caprae is a perennial creeping species with fleshy, glossy leaves, and showy bright pink flowers. For any rich, well drained, sandy or rocky soil in a sunny spot. Best grown as a perennial in pots. Keep dryer and always sunny in winter at a minimum of some 15°C. VIII-IX.
