Tree Violet is a small genus in the Violet or Pansy family (Violaceae) with semi-evergreen woody shrubs or small trees. In winter reduce watering to a minimum and keep plants at a minimum of some 12°C. Excellent and very floriferous plants for the cool wintergarden or temperate greenhouse.
Sow seeds flat in any rich, slightly sandy or rocky, well drained substrate at some 20°C. After germination keep pots slightly drier and always in full sun.
