Dimorphotheca (African Daisy) & Onoseris

African Daisies are semi-woody, floriferous perennials from South Africa. Onoseris is a small genus of Gerbera like perennials from Central and South America. All are easily cultivated in pots in any well drained, slightly humus rich sustrate in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter reduce watering and keep plants at a minimum of some 15°C.
Sow at some 20°C throughout the year in any well drained, yet humus rich soil. Seed will germinate within 2 to 4 weeks at room temperature. Keep seedlings very sunny, especially in winter months.

50 (70)cm, a semi-woody perennial from mountaineous regions in southeastern Bolivia and has ornamental arrow-shaped leaves which are silvery-white below, and showy, elegantly long stalked bright pink flowers. An excellent container plant for any rich, very well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter reduce watering and keep plants at a minimum of some 15°C. III-X.
