Hibiscus (Tropical Mallows)

Mallows are mostly perennial, shrubs or small trees, few tropical species are growing as annuals. All require a well drained soil in full sun and plenty of water in summer, thus they make flowers in profusion all summer long. Sow flat at a minimum of some 20°C in any rocky or sandy soil, keep pots always in full sun.
