Phlox

Phlox is a small genus of annual or perennial species from North America and northeastern Asia with numerous bright colored, usually strongly fragrant flowers throughout summer and fall. Easily cultivated in any humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot.
Sow flat in any humus rich, well drained soil in autumn. If seeds are sowed in spring, germination may not occur till the following year. Keep pots in a sunny, protected spot outside. Transplant as soon as seedlings are strong enough.
All are USDA Climate Zone 6.
