Mediterranean Parsnips and Giant Carots make tall and broad inflorescences with several umbels of numerous small white to yellowish-green flowers above ornamental, large, feathery and finely dissected to broad glossy, serrated, aromatic leaves. All are good perennial container plant for any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year and a winter minimum of some 10°C with reduced watering. Sow seeds flat in any humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Keep seedlings always sunny, especially in winter months. Most species will reach flowering size within 2 to 3 years, depending on cultivation conditions. 20 seeds per package. |
