Bigleaf Goldenray Flowers belong to a broad genus of semi herbaceous perennials native of meadows, open spots in woods and at thr border of water corses in the Northern hemisphere. Especially Asian Ligularia species are very ornamental for their large leaves and medium sized to tall, bright to rich yellow inflorescences. They are easily grown in any humus rich, well-drained, slightly moist soil in a preferably partially shaded spot. Sow seeds flat in any humus rich, well drained soil. Keep soil always slightly moist and place pots in a sunny, protected spot outside during winter. Most species require a cooling period of several months prior to germination in spring. Transplant to the final spot in the garden from mid summer to early autumn. All are USDA Climate Zone 6. 20 seeds per package.. |
