Syzygium paniculatum (Magenta Brush Cherry)

3 (10)m, Magenta Brush Cherry is an evergreen tree from New South Wales, Australia. It bears showy glossy, dark green leaves and small whitish flowers followed by edible, aromatic, bright lilac-rose fruits in dense clusters. An excellent, ornamental container plant which is easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot. Can be easily cut back to keep it smaller and compact, also used as an ornamental bonsai. In winter keep plants drier at a minimum of some 10°C. V-VII.
