Strelitzia nicolai (White Bird-of-Paradise)

3 (15)m, White Bird-of-Paradise makes a very tall stem and huge, ovoid, dark green fan like leaves. Mature plants have large cream white canoe shaped, short stalked flowers. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep plants drier at a minimum of some 10°C. I-XII.
