Geissorhiza aspera

15 (25)cm, a small species from the Cape and Western Cape in South Africa. Geissorhiza aspera produces showy rich sky blue flower. Easily grown in any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot. During dormancy keep corms preferably dry at a winter minimum of some 10°C. IV-V.
