Protea amplexicaulis

50cm, dwarf, creeping woody shrub with heart shaped to ovate, bluish green leaves and terminal, reddish brown flower cups. For any humus rich, preferably loam-free, slightly moist soil in full sun throughout the year. In winter keep plants cooler at a minimum of some 10°C with reduced watering.
