Erythrina smithiana (Smith's Coral Shrub)

200 (500)cm, Smith's Coral Shrub is a small woody deciduous shrub from Colombia and Ecuador with terminal, upright hold racemes of most ornamental, long, intense scarlet flowers. For any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep plants drier at a minimum of some 10C. VII-IX.
