30 (60)cm, Beach Pea is a sprawling herbaceous perennial with showy purplish-blue flowers and grayish green leaves. It is native of sandy to rocky soils in coastal areas throughout temperate regions in the northern hemisphere. For any rich, preferably sandy to rocky, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Excellent in the rock garden. VI-VIII.
